Sustainability and upcycling is the key to my artwork, shedding a light on things that might otherwise not be interesting for anyone as they are considered as rubbish or unwanted.

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”, in my case: instead of heading to the arts supply store I rather keep my eyes on the ground to find that special item that might serve as a treasure and enhancement to a particular piece of art at the time. I present these finds in a different context which, as such provides the rubbish with an upcycled importance which automatically creates a certain interest in the observer and makes them look at my art in an more curious way.

My canvas is a stave which, as such, to me is so beautiful, so unique, each individual one, that it turns out an obstacle to actually work with it. Nevertheless it serves exactly my purpose as it is normally considered as firewood meaning waste.

Andy Warhol might have been the first to make an empty soup can in art popular, I go beyond and furnish real waste, things that no longer serve a certain purpose, with meaning.

To me coming back to the studio day after day is driven by the intention to create awareness for our surroundings, for nature and what we do with it by carelessly throwing things away and by this support my eco credibility .

VANESSA JASMIN PANNÉ

An exhibition at Sa Creu Nova is a special honor for me. The ambience there is unique and with the timeless elegance a dreamlands´scenery for my objects.

Floreros de Vino, Vanessa Jasmin Panné calls her design objects. She drove past the dealer with the old wine bottles a hundred times and one day the vision came – pictures in her head which she turned into reality. The flow of colors and graphics is pure intuition, from inside out. On the other hand the golden head is conscious branding, her recognizable value, without none of their objects leaves the studio. The communications designer and photographer studied in Berlin, spent years as an art director in the fashion industry, designed corporate designs, stores and trade fair booths, directed shootings and much more. Only since the birth of her daughter in 2015 has she said goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the fashion world and metropolises and dedicated herself to free art and photography. «Everything has its time and there are always new tasks for you to grow and change,» says Vanessa Jasmin Panné. Currently one of her long-awaited wishes is being fulfilled. She sets up a finca as a interior designer. Therefore she combines many of her previous works – colors, shapes, materials come together and everything has to have a common thread as usual.

Im Sa Creu Nova auszustellen ist eine besondere Ehre für mich. Das Ambiente dort ist einmalig und mit der zeitlosen Eleganz eine Traumkulisse für meine Objekte.

Floreros de Vino, nennt Vanessa Jasmin Panné ihre Kunstobjekte. Sie ist hundert Mal an dem Händler mit den alten Weinflaschen vorbeigefahren und eines Tages kam die Vision, Bilder in ihrem Kopf, die sie in die Realität umsetzte. Der Fluss der Farben und Graphiken kommt ganz aus dem Bauch heraus – reine Intuition. Der goldene Kopf dagegen ist bewusstes Branding, der Wiedererkennungswert, ohne den keines ihrer Objekte das Atelier verlässt. Die in Berlin studierte Kommunikationsdesignerin & Fotografin verbrachte Jahre als Art Direktorin in der Modebranche, gestaltete Corporate Designs, Messestände, leitete Shootings und vieles mehr. Erst seit der Geburt ihrer Tochter, im Jahr 2015, hat sie sich von dem Trubel der Fashion Welt und Metropolen verabschiedet und sich der freien Kunst und Fotografie gewidmet. »Alles hat seine Zeit und es kommen immer wieder neue Aufgaben auf einen zu, mit denen man wächst und sich verändert.« sagt Vanessa Jasmin Panné. Aktuell geht gerade einer ihrer lang ersehntesten Wünsche in Erfüllung. Vanessa Jasmin Panné richtet als Interior Designerin eine Finca ein. Damit vereint sie viele ihrer vorangegangenen Arbeiten – Farben, Formen, Materialien kommen zusammen und alles muss wie gewohnt einen roten Faden haben. »Gestaltung folgt auf allen Ebenen den gleichen Regeln“, erklärt sie. „Ein Bild, ein Stuhl, eine Vase! sollte sich dem Raum anpassen wie ein gut sitzender Anzug. Es geht bei allem um Ästhetik.
